Pair of French armchairs or fauteuils, made early 20th century with fine tapestry seats backs and arms. These chairs were made in France in a traditional style and feature finely detailed carving on the arms, legs and back. There is also multiple stud trimming around the tapestry. Measurements are 62 cm wide 60 cm to 93 cm high at the back and 45 centimetres high at the seat. Now sold.
Made in France around 1930 these oak framed armchairs could be used in a dining or lounge room setting. The expensive tapestry fabrics and oak frames are in good condition. The inner stuffing would benefit from attention in the future. These chairs are useable at present. Please note that we also have available four standard (without arms) from the same set.
