Four door mahogany breakfront sideboard with applied carving on a shaped back. Crossbanded lip and cushion drawers. The doors also featuring flame mahogany panels framed with further decoration. Left hand cabinet includes three pull out shelves and on the right side you will find a traditional for the period wine cellar. Featured in the Carter’s Guide for 2004, this piece now represents unparallelled value. Measurements are 250 cm wide, 70 cm deep and 172 cm high. Price is $3,900.

An early, very early example of furniture from provincial France. Made from oak, this would date from 1800 to 1830. Incidentally what a tumultuous political period there was in France at this time. With one King lasting for nine days and another for only two!
