Overmantle from the Edwardian period with mirror. Would fit most standard fireplaces. May suit a vintage style room with a lower ceiling. Please note fragment missing at the top right hand side. Please see photo. Suggestion, why not screw some coat hooks to the lower wooden rail for a very affordable French style hallway coat rack. Price reduced, was $98, now $78.
An overmantle or wall mirror made in France from oak in the mid to late 1800s.
Generally in good order, the mirror is exhibiting signs of genuine age. This is generally (perhaps counter intuitively) regarded as a good thing by decorators, dealers and collectors.
85 cm wide x 15 cm deep and 125 cm high
Not to be confused with the many Chinese copies on the market at present.
This is a genuine wood and plaster gilt framed overmantle mirror.
140 cms wide and 100 cms high.
