Antique hall “tree” or hall stand in oak. From the 1850’s with what appears to be the original iron drip tray in good condition. All those fine turned pegs look intact. Measurements are 90 cm wide by 27 cm deep and 180 cms high (will check that height as it may not be accurate).
Magnificent mid 19th century elaborately carved oak hall stand from France. Featuring elegant large curled metal hooks reminiscent of the iron work on an Art Nouveau French staircase, original white enamel drip trays and a number of round umbrella or walking stick holders. In largely good usable condition some of the hooks will require replacement.

Made in Australia in the early 1900’s this blackwood hallstand is in solid original condition with the authentic period hooks and a lift up compartment under the seat. A few light scratches and the circular tin drip trays are missing, otherwise a useful and practical antique.
