An antique extension table made from oak in France in the late 1800’s. This is a great dining table option as closed you will own a comfortable six seater. Open the draw leaves without tools by pulling them out at either end, and you create a 12 seat baronial banquet table. While fairly rare in this country it is no surprise that this style of table has been popular in France and Europe generally for over 250 years.
There are signs of wear in the top (varnish losses) which we have photographed.

A pair or Louis XVI style armchars made in France in the mid 1900’s. Featuring a regency stripe pattern and decorative carving as illustrated in the photos. Very stylish and comfortable too.

Made in France around 1930 these oak framed armchairs could be used in a dining or lounge room setting. The expensive tapestry fabrics and oak frames are in good condition. The inner stuffing would benefit from attention in the future. These chairs are useable at present. Please note that we also have available four standard (without arms) from the same set.

This beautifully carved armchair is a genuine French antique from the mid 1800’s. With it’s elegantly faded woven tapestry seat and back, it is the perfect reminder of your time in France. Or perhaps a place to plan the holiday to come.
Condition report. Importantly the detailed gothic frame and tapestry are in excellent original order. Some time over the last one hundred and fifty years some indulgent owner has allowed their cat to pull at the back panel at the lower right. This could be patched inexpensively, replaced, or even left as is, depending on your personal approach to authenticity (and cats).
