Made in France in the early 20th century by well-known maker featuring all original hooks intact, decorative carving of birds to the top of the drawer and original trays and decorative brass retainers for your umbrellas. Some discoloration in the mirror in the top left hand corner commensurate with the age. This was a prize-winning mirror maker in the 1880’s (Please see label photograph). An antique extension table made from oak in France in the late 1800’s. This is a great dining table option as closed you will own a comfortable six seater. Open the draw leaves without tools by pulling them out at either end, and you create a 12 seat baronial banquet table. While fairly rare in this country it is no surprise that this style of table has been popular in France and Europe generally for over 250 years.
There are signs of wear in the top (varnish losses) which we have photographed.
