A table base with replacement top. We believe the base to be made by Eames or rather Herman Miller for Eames, featuring their distinctive adjustable feet and sculpted legs. There are several examples of this type of table on the internet attributed to this maker. Measurements are 140 cm diameter and 72 cm high. Please note the top is not original. Price was $490, now $290.
More interesting than the more readily available Eames replicas, this chair and footstool was obviously inspired by that 1956 Charles and Ray Eames classic (#670 and #671). In this case the Italian designers have confidently reinterpreted the Eames theme with a different treatment of the bases and cushioned surfaces. Width is 60 cm Depth is 60 cm and height is 102 cm. Now Sold.
A Matt Blatt reproduction “premium” version ($799 each new). A faithful copy of the Charles and Ray Eames classic. The original inspiration having originally designed in the late 50’s. At the time of writing we have two available.
