Featuring extensively carved chest made from scented camphorwood. We are sure that everyone is aware that camphorwood is an ideal material as is resists all insects. There is a candle tray on the right and a simple traditional lock. This trunk was probably made around 1950.

An antique bedside cabinet made in France in the early1800’s and fitted with a marble top and an extremely rare pull out slide underneath the marble top.
There is an expansion split where the solid walnut boards have shrunk slightly over the last 200 years. This does not require attention and is an additional honorary scar of age.

In original condition, this piece provides a large amount of storage immediately useable. Made from cedar c.1870. We have tried to be frank regarding the imperfections. Principally the split in the top and the trim around this section. All the original handles are intact and the drawers operate well.
A beautiful and practical piece of history, affordable now and restorable in the future.
118 cm wide x 47 cm deep and 123 cm high..
From the late 1900’s this is a particularly large chest of drawers that doesn’t take up too much floor space. The drawers operate smoothly and this chest has been doing a great storage job for over 100 years. While the painted finish exhibits many superficial scratches we feel it would look fabulous stripped as the entire piece is made of Kauri pine. Al handles intact.
125 cms wide x 55 cms deep and 145 cms high
An antique cedar chest of drawers made in Australia around 1900. As you will no doubt already be aware this magical and now extremely rare timber is impervious to borer and at the same time, light and strong. We would also like to rave about the beautiful colour and patina however that should be apparent in the photos. There are some splits and wear in the attached images. These don’t impede use and we can demonstrate an easy way to rectify this if you are interested.

In lovely honey coloured timbers this side table could be used in a hallway or beside a couch. We draw your attention to the interesting inlay on the front of this piece.
