Chairs Armchairs Blackwood Suede Vintage 20’s Two Pair Club


Two (2) blackwood framed 1920s chairs with arms. Suede upholstery natural chamois colour, these are probably a Masonic or institutional commission in the 20’s (Melbourne Harbour??). Please note fragments missing on one arm, see photo. Measurements are 60 cm wide 68 cm deep 46 cm high to seat 100cm high to back. Our price is $290 for the pair.

Now Sold. Wassily Chairs Chrome Leather Marcel Breuer Pair


Pair of Marcel Breuer designed Wassily chairs from the 1920s with strong leather work and good quality chrome frames. We believe these chairs to be authorised reproductions made under licence by Gavina or Knole however there are no impressed marks and only traces of one removed adhesive label. Please note that one chrome horizontal arm tube has been replaced and that is detailed in the photographs (on the extreme right hand side of one of the chairs). Both are in excellent usable condition and feature the sealed rod ends on each of the horizontal rails that are the trademark of an authorised copy. Please see the internet for more information.

Sold Four French Dining Chairs Tapestry and Oak

Four French high back dining chairs with excellent oak frames, good tapestry covers, webbing and metal studs. The seating is quite flat and would benefit from restuffing in the future, hence the modest price. Measurements are 48 cm wide 55 cm deep, 46 cm hgh at the seat and 105 cm high at the back.

Now Sold. Chairs Kitchen Dining Rush Seated French Style Reproduction 6

Set of six (6) reproduction rush seated chairs in teak. Comprising four standard and two carvers, all very solid with braced legs. Please note the following faults. One standard chair is missing a decorative strap at the back, and one carver has a partly chewed rush seat.For both defects please see specific photographs. Both these issues affect appearance rather than in use. Standard chairs are 57 cm wide 50 cm deep. The seat height is 46 cm back height 100 cm.
