A draw leaf table made in France in the mid 1900’s. A parquetry top with legs painted grey. The top extends without tools by pulling out a leaf at each end to create a true 10 seater dining area. 2.6 metres overall when open. Similarly it can be pushed in again in seconds when a smaller table is required. Some light scratches in the top which we have attempted to photograph. Otherwise a stylish and useable antique

Hall Table Aesthetic Movement Cedar Antique
An interesting little hall table made in the mid 1800’s in London by celebrated cabinet maker T.H. Filmer. Fearuring the restrained and elegant decorative style associated with the Aesthetic Period. Please note the unusual side drawer. We are fortunate that this is a fairly compact piece and would fit in most homes. Originally displayed in the Oxford Street showroom of the maker at the same time Charles Dickens himself strolled the streets of London. Who knows if he may have admired it’s shape as he peered through the glass of the gaslit window panes one evening in the metropolis.

Originally imported into Australia by highly regarded specialists Orient Express. This antique sideboard is from the Qing Dynasty, more specifically the 1800s. In excellent restored condition it would suit larger or smaller accomodation. We personally find that Chinese antiques look great in both modern and more traditional settings. No faults to mention.
110 cm wide by 50 cm deep and 86 cm high.
This beautifully carved armchair is a genuine French antique from the mid 1800’s. With it’s elegantly faded woven tapestry seat and back, it is the perfect reminder of your time in France. Or perhaps a place to plan the holiday to come.
Condition report. Importantly the detailed gothic frame and tapestry are in excellent original order. Some time over the last one hundred and fifty years some indulgent owner has allowed their cat to pull at the back panel at the lower right. This could be patched inexpensively, replaced, or even left as is, depending on your personal approach to authenticity (and cats).
