In absolutely wonderful condition this 140 year old piece of furniture is in museum condition. Please note the detailed carving recorded in the photos. Even down to the original brass tooled wingnuts used to hold the adjustable mirror in the angle selected. Would look great in an antique or modern environment.

This one is “very antique”, should there be such a thing. Made in France in the early 1800’s this solid and substantial desk with fold down writing surface is a potential museum piece. from the particularly large writing area with it’s curved edge, to heavy locks and one off handles it is completely original. The secret compartment hidden in the table floor is an added extra. One shortcoming may be the lack of keys, however with the locks intact, they could be removed and new keys cut in the future
