Oak bedside cabinets with ceramic liners. These are from France and would have been made around 1880. Measurements are 40 cm wide, 50 cm deep and each stands 83 cm high. Price is $1340 for two.
Oak hall seat from France in the Henri II style popular in the late 1800’s. Featuing detailed deep carving and providing a solid seat and a large storage area. Measurements are 110 cm wide, 50 cm deep and standing 140 high at the back. Price is $2,000.
Large French oak chest of drawers, made in that country in the late 1800’s. No faults to mention and still with original handles. More pictures to follow. Measurements are 126 cm wide, 50 cm deep and 100 cm high. Price is $1850.
Antique hall wardrobe or cabinet made from oak in the early 1900’s. Unusual inclined top and one shelf behind one door. Some superficial scratches, otherwise in good condition. Measurements are 98 cm x 53 cm and standing 195 cm high. Price was $335, now $100 off at $235.
Oak hall cupboard. Antique and English, circa 1930 with fully fitted interior and gadrooned edging and very unusual scalloped front. These photographs do not do this piece justice, as the actual colour is much warmer in appearance. Measurements are 100 cm wide,40 cm deep and standing 180 cm high.
Roll top desk made from oak. In the style of and possibly attributable to the famous Cutler of Buffalo New Jersey. This is a compact, drawers on one side version. Please note there are two issues with this desk. Firstly that the base around the leg cavity, is secured by non original metal brackets. Secondly, that the drawers (at present) are locked. We expect to have the drawers open shortly. Measuring 106 cm by 75 cm deep, standing 76 cm high at the dek top, and 115 cm high at the back.
Four dining chairs in the Jacobean Revival style popular before the first world war. With green velvet seats and button back edges. Measurements are 50 cm wide 57 cm deep and standing 46 cm high at the seat. Price $295.
Edwardian plant stand in solid oak. Quite stable exhibiting a crack in the bottom plate but surprisingly offering a choice of three alternative flat surfaces for display. Measurements are 45 cm by 31 cm and standing 115 cm high.
Arts and Crafts period sideboard in solid English oak. With mirror back, two drawers and two cupboards all in good solid condition. Completely authentic for the period (early 1900’s). Please note there is a significant ink stain on the top of the cabin section. Measurements are 150 cm wide by 46 cm ddep and standing 95 cm high at the bench and 200 cm high at the top of the mirror.
