This is an armchair of the finest quality, made in Australia by highly regarded craftsman company Van Treight (est. NSW 1946). Though close to 50 years old it remains in perfect condition for frame and fabric. A beautiful and comfortable seat. A single antique armchair made in France at the turn of the last century. The frame is stong and sturdy, made in oak and intricately carved. The uphostery , a attractive tactile velvet stripe, while entirely useable in the forseeable, is fraying at a couple of points.
