Indian temple brass bowl from the 18th (possibly early 19th) century. Extremely heavy and sitting on four small bun feet. We suggest that this would have held sacred water in a place of worship. There is a very distinctive and reasonant note when th ebowl is struck with a solid object. These objects have also been extremely sought after through history. 10 cm high x 28 cm diameter.
