A writing bureau or fall front desk from the 1900’s made in the UK with, decorative rope edge carving, good hinges, and a full complement of pigeon holes and stationary drawers. Four spacious drawers below. The only issue to our mind is an expansion crack on the left created by the wood contracting over the last 100 years. The piece is absolutely solid and usable, and if it could be placed in such a situation that the lefthand side was not obvious, it would not be an issue. Measurements are 85 cm x 55 cm x 108 cm high. We normally get $500/$700 for these, but this one was $340, now $100 off at $240.
