Hall Table French Style Wooden Carved
A hall table in the Louis XV style incorporating four drawers. Shaped legs, serpentine front and a great colour combine to make this a very attractive (as well as useful) piece. Could look good as a hall table or side table in the lounge, or in the bedroom.

Oak Chairs Ladder Back Rush Seated French France Van Gogh Six Dining Kitchen
A set of six ladder back chairs with rush seating. Immortalised by Vincent van Gogh in the painting of his bedroom at Arles (1888). These are also in common use in the farmhouses in France Belgium and Holland to this day.

A pair of brass wall brackets or sconces, each with an articulated arm extending to approx 25 /30 cms.
Recently removed from one of Melbourne’s most exclusive clubs. Complete with original shades if required. Probably manufactured 1980 to 1990.

Oak Sideboard Buffet Servery France Antique
An early, very early example of furniture from provincial France. Made from oak, this would date from 1800 to 1830. Incidentally what a tumultuous political period there was in France at this time. With one King lasting for nine days and another for only two!

A desk top stationery cabinet made in Australia by Clarke and Sons. Craftsman made from rare cedar it was made in the last half of the 1800’s. In very original condition regarding patina and some bruising of the wood. Authentic architectural hardware in the handles and internal latches.
