A fine mahogany example fitted with a drawer and castors. From the pre Victorian era (1800 to 1830) with drop sides this is a useful and elegant entertaining table for the home. Some of the finer aspects of the cabinet maker’s skill are partly hidden. The castors concealed beneath the feet and the delicate turning on the pedestal, fully revealed when the side flaps are lifted.

An antique chest of drawers made in Australia around 1900. In excellent useable order. Please note that there are some fine expansion lines on the left hand side and the top. These are commensurate with age, do not affect the use and are, if desired, easily filled.

A late Victorian original oil painting of a coastal scene. Canvas with one patch on antique pegged stretcher in a later gilt frame. Unsigned, nonetheless a competent work that is over 100 years old.

This is a sofa of the finest quality, made in Australia by highly regarded craftsman company Van Treight (est. NSW 1946). Though close to 50 years old it remains in perfect condition for frame and fabric. A beautiful and comfortable seat.
