This one is “very antique”, should there be such a thing. Made in France in the early 1800’s this solid and substantial desk with fold down writing surface is a potential museum piece. from the particularly large writing area with it’s curved edge, to heavy locks and one off handles it is completely original. The secret compartment hidden in the table floor is an added extra. One shortcoming may be the lack of keys, however with the locks intact, they could be removed and new keys cut in the future

Modern version of the classic wing back Georgian library chair. A good strong club style chair with some upholstery faults. including a tear on arm (see detail photo), and buttons missing on back. We have been told that the buttons are an easy repair, we have yet to check this out. We have had some requests in the past for a “gnarly” leather club chair. Maybe this is it?

An antique cedar chest of drawers made in Australia around 1900. As you will no doubt already be aware this magical and now extremely rare timber is impervious to borer and at the same time, light and strong. We would also like to rave about the beautiful colour and patina however that should be apparent in the photos. There are some splits and wear in the attached images. These don’t impede use and we can demonstrate an easy way to rectify this if you are interested.
