A small workbench / chopping board with two castors for $95, a larger food prep or studio table formerly from Combi Coffee in Albert Park $395. The photo also shows a stylish 20’s armchair $295. There is a compact two seater couch available for $395. We will be open Saturday and Sunday over Easter
Two stylish reproduction pieces. A Louis style armchair ( with or without a matching three seater couch). Those are $250 each or $400 for both. And a hard to find tall Empire style chest of drawers for $490.
In this week’s window a selection of enamel ware from Romania, fine cutlery from Laguiole in France sitting on an Arts and Crafts Baltic pine dresser circa 1900
This image of the front of the shop this Saturday shows the large collection of tables we have received in the last couple of days. Including a really well built trestle table and a Fifties smaller wooden table. And, a first for us (against the right hand front window) an original painting on a table top by local artist Gemma Paley. So you can hang that table on your wall or put some legs under in it (in the time honoured tradition). Ms Paley moved to St Kilda this weekend (hence the reason for the sale) but we still hope she regards herself as a “local”.
